She was drawn to noticing what different cultures did to improve health and longevity. Most of these herbal medicines have been trialed on human beings for centuries if not thousands of years. The prime aim of herbal application was to improve health not make money.

Emmeline primarily uses standardised tinctures made by Phytomed Medicinal Herbs Ltd, so safety and quality is well established. These tinctures are made by combining alcohol and plant. The plant is then strained off leaving a powerful medicine rich with the medicinal properties of that herb. The herbs used are from around the world and include herbs from NZ, Chinese , Ayuredic, and European sources. Emmeline uses what she considers are the best herbal combination for each individual person.
